Deprecated Methods

Method	Description
com.tridion.meta.CustomMeta.getValue(String)	This method is only for backwards compatibility reasons and should not be used anymore. New method to be used is CustomMeta.getFirstValue(String).
com.tridion.meta.NameValuePair.getType()
com.tridion.meta.NameValuePair.getValue()	This method is only for backwards compatibility reasons and should not be used anymore. New method to be used is NameValuePair.getFirstValue().
com.tridion.storage.entities.CustomMetaEntity.getValue(String)	This method is only for backwards compatibility reasons and should not be used anymore. New method to be used is CustomMetaEntity.getFirstValue(String).
com.tridion.storage.management.StorageManager.getDAOFactoryForStorageId(String)	this method will be removed soon. Direct access to the DAOFactory is not recommended.
