public interface IBufferFactoryComponent
extends IComponent

Allows platform-specific buffer objects to be generated. There may be occasions where a IPolicy may legitimately wish to construct a new buffer (e.g. caching), and therefore needs a mechanism to efficiently get a new IApimanBuffer buffer with a native implementation.

A new empty buffer

Instantiate an IApimanBuffer of given size.

size - buffer size

Returns:

A new empty buffer of size

createBuffer

IApimanBuffer createBuffer(String stringData)

Instantiate an IApimanBuffer with String.

Parameters:

stringData - string to instantiate buffer

Returns:

A buffer instantiated with stringData

createBuffer

                         String enc)

Instantiate an IApimanBuffer with String.

Parameters:

stringData - string to instantiate buffer

enc - encoding of string

Returns:

A buffer instantiated with stringData
