A sealed class, which constitutes the nodes of a pattern tree. The only two implementations of this class are the TreePattern.Var and the TreePattern.Val class. The TreePattern.Var class represents a placeholder for an arbitrary sub-tree and the TreePattern.Val class stands for an arbitrary concrete sub-tree.
