put

JsonObject put(String key,
               JsonValue element)

Add (if there is no value with the same key already) or replace (if there is) a new JsonValue to the object under the provided key. Supports chaining of calls.

Parameters:

key - the key of the JsonValue to add or replace

element - the value to add or replace

Returns:

the updated JsonObject to allow call chaining

get

JsonValue get(String key)

Get the JsonValue under the provided key.

Parameters:

key - the key to get the value for

Returns:

the JsonValue under the provided key or null if no value is found

remove

JsonValue remove(String key)

Remove the JsonValue under the provided key.

Parameters:

key - the key to remove the value for

Returns:

the removed JsonValue or null if no value is found

size

Returns:

the number of key-value pairs in this JsonObject
