public interface ITypeAssigner

Allows to bulk-assign types for identifiable elements, e.g. assign the types for the parametes of an inferred operation.

Method Detail

assignType

void assignType(JvmIdentifiableElement element,
              LightweightTypeReference actualType)

The given element is tagged with the given type. If this type is null, it is treated like an error type.

getForkedState

ITypeComputationState getForkedState()

Returns the forked state that knows about the newly assigned types.

getReferenceOwner

ITypeReferenceOwner getReferenceOwner()

Returns the current owner.

toLightweightTypeReference

LightweightTypeReference toLightweightTypeReference(JvmTypeReference reference)

Can be used to convert JvmTypeReferences in the context of the newly forked state.

Parameters:

reference - the reference to convert.

Returns:

the converted reference.
