Class CreateIdentityProviderRequest

    • Method Detail

      • userPoolId

        public final String userPoolId()

        The Id of the user pool where you want to create an IdP.

        Returns:
        The Id of the user pool where you want to create an IdP.
      • providerName

        public final String providerName()

        The name that you want to assign to the IdP. You can pass the identity provider name in the identity_provider query parameter of requests to the Authorize endpoint to silently redirect to sign-in with the associated IdP.

        Returns:
        The name that you want to assign to the IdP. You can pass the identity provider name in the identity_provider query parameter of requests to the Authorize endpoint to silently redirect to sign-in with the associated IdP.
      • providerType

        public final IdentityProviderTypeType providerType()

        The type of IdP that you want to add. Amazon Cognito supports OIDC, SAML 2.0, Login With Amazon, Sign In With Apple, Google, and Facebook IdPs.

        If the service returns an enum value that is not available in the current SDK version, providerType will return IdentityProviderTypeType.UNKNOWN_TO_SDK_VERSION. The raw value returned by the service is available from providerTypeAsString().

        Returns:
        The type of IdP that you want to add. Amazon Cognito supports OIDC, SAML 2.0, Login With Amazon, Sign In With Apple, Google, and Facebook IdPs.

      • providerTypeAsString

        public final String providerTypeAsString()

      • hasProviderDetails

        public final boolean hasProviderDetails()
        For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the ProviderDetails property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check the isEmpty() method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.
      • providerDetails

        public final Map<String,String> providerDetails()

        The scopes, URLs, and identifiers for your external identity provider. The following examples describe the provider detail keys for each IdP type. These values and their schema are subject to change. Social IdP authorize_scopes values must match the values listed here.

        OpenID Connect (OIDC)

        Amazon Cognito accepts the following elements when it can't discover endpoint URLs from oidc_issuer: attributes_url, authorize_url, jwks_uri, token_url.

      • hasAttributeMapping

        public final boolean hasAttributeMapping()
        For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the AttributeMapping property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check the isEmpty() method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. • attributeMapping

        public final Map<String,String> attributeMapping()

        A mapping of IdP attributes to standard and custom user pool attributes. Specify a user pool attribute as the key of the key-value pair, and the IdP attribute claim name as the value.

        Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

        This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasAttributeMapping() method.

        Returns:
        A mapping of IdP attributes to standard and custom user pool attributes. Specify a user pool attribute as the key of the key-value pair, and the IdP attribute claim name as the value.
      • hasIdpIdentifiers

        public final boolean hasIdpIdentifiers()
        For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the IdpIdentifiers property.
      • idpIdentifiers

        public final List<String> idpIdentifiers()

        An array of IdP identifiers, for example "IdPIdentifiers": [ "MyIdP", "MyIdP2" ]. Identifiers are friendly names that you can pass in the idp_identifier query parameter of requests to the Authorize endpoint to silently redirect to sign-in with the associated IdP. Identifiers in a domain format also enable the use of email-address matching with SAML providers.

        Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

        This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasIdpIdentifiers() method.

        Returns:
        An array of IdP identifiers, for example "IdPIdentifiers": [ "MyIdP", "MyIdP2" ]. Identifiers are friendly names that you can pass in the idp_identifier query parameter of requests to the Authorize endpoint to silently redirect to sign-in with the associated IdP. Identifiers in a domain format also enable the use of email-address matching with SAML providers.
      • toString

        public final String toString()
        Returns a string representation of this object. This is useful for testing and debugging. Sensitive data will be redacted from this string using a placeholder value.
        Overrides:
        toString in class Object
