hasSteps

public final boolean hasSteps()

For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the Steps property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check the isEmpty() method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.

steps

public final List<Step> steps()

List of routing steps. When Amazon Connect does not find an available agent meeting the requirements in a step for a given step duration, the routing criteria will move on to the next step sequentially until a join is completed with an agent. When all steps are exhausted, the contact will be offered to any agent in the queue.

Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasSteps() method.

Returns:

List of routing steps. activationTimestamp

The timestamp indicating when the routing criteria is set to active. A routing criteria is activated when contact is transferred to a queue. ActivationTimestamp will be set on routing criteria for contacts in agent queue even though Routing criteria is never activated for contacts in agent queue.
