Class OutpostConfigRequest

    • Method Detail

      • hasOutpostArns

        public final boolean hasOutpostArns()
        For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the OutpostArns property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check the isEmpty() method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.
      • outpostArns

        public final List<String> outpostArns()

        The ARN of the Outpost that you want to use for your local Amazon EKS cluster on Outposts. Only a single Outpost ARN is supported.

        Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

        This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasOutpostArns() method.

        Returns:
        The ARN of the Outpost that you want to use for your local Amazon EKS cluster on Outposts. Only a single Outpost ARN is supported.
      • controlPlaneInstanceType

        public final String controlPlaneInstanceType()

        The Amazon EC2 instance type that you want to use for your local Amazon EKS cluster on Outposts. Choose an instance type based on the number of nodes that your cluster will have. For more information, see Capacity considerations in the Amazon EKS User Guide.

        The instance type that you specify is used for all Kubernetes control plane instances. The instance type can't be changed after cluster creation. The control plane is not automatically scaled by Amazon EKS.

        Returns:
        The Amazon EC2 instance type that you want to use for your local Amazon EKS cluster on Outposts. Choose an instance type based on the number of nodes that your cluster will have. For more information, see Capacity considerations in the Amazon EKS User Guide.

      • controlPlanePlacement

        public final ControlPlanePlacementRequest controlPlanePlacement()

        An object representing the placement configuration for all the control plane instances of your local Amazon EKS cluster on an Amazon Web Services Outpost. For more information, see Capacity considerations in the Amazon EKS User Guide.

        Returns:
        An object representing the placement configuration for all the control plane instances of your local Amazon EKS cluster on an Amazon Web Services Outpost. For more information, see Capacity considerations in the Amazon EKS User Guide.
