Class InstanceTypeConfig
- java.lang.Object

- software.amazon.awssdk.services.emr.model.InstanceTypeConfig
-
- All Implemented Interfaces:
Serializable,SdkPojo,ToCopyableBuilder<InstanceTypeConfig.Builder,InstanceTypeConfig>
@Generated("software.amazon.awssdk:codegen") public final class InstanceTypeConfig extends Object implements SdkPojo, Serializable, ToCopyableBuilder<InstanceTypeConfig.Builder,InstanceTypeConfig>
An instance type configuration for each instance type in an instance fleet, which determines the Amazon EC2 instances Amazon EMR attempts to provision to fulfill On-Demand and Spot target capacities. When you use an allocation strategy, you can include a maximum of 30 instance type configurations for a fleet. For more information about how to use an allocation strategy, see Configure Instance Fleets. Without an allocation strategy, you may specify a maximum of five instance type configurations for a fleet.
The instance fleet configuration is available only in Amazon EMR releases 4.8.0 and later, excluding 5.0.x versions.

Method Detail
-
instanceType
public final String instanceType()
An Amazon EC2 instance type, such as
m3.xlarge.- Returns:
- An Amazon EC2 instance type, such as
m3.xlarge.
-
weightedCapacity
public final Integer weightedCapacity()
The number of units that a provisioned instance of this type provides toward fulfilling the target capacities defined in InstanceFleetConfig. This value is 1 for a master instance fleet, and must be 1 or greater for core and task instance fleets. Defaults to 1 if not specified.
- Returns:
- The number of units that a provisioned instance of this type provides toward fulfilling the target capacities defined in InstanceFleetConfig. This value is 1 for a master instance fleet, and must be 1 or greater for core and task instance fleets. Defaults to 1 if not specified.
-
bidPrice
public final String bidPrice()
The bid price for each Amazon EC2 Spot Instance type as defined by
InstanceType. Expressed in USD. If neitherBidPricenorBidPriceAsPercentageOfOnDemandPriceis provided,BidPriceAsPercentageOfOnDemandPricedefaults to 100%.- Returns:
- The bid price for each Amazon EC2 Spot Instance type as defined by
InstanceType. Expressed in USD. If neitherBidPricenorBidPriceAsPercentageOfOnDemandPriceis provided,BidPriceAsPercentageOfOnDemandPricedefaults to 100%.
-
bidPriceAsPercentageOfOnDemandPrice
public final Double bidPriceAsPercentageOfOnDemandPrice()
The bid price, as a percentage of On-Demand price, for each Amazon EC2 Spot Instance as defined by
InstanceType. Expressed as a number (for example, 20 specifies 20%). If neitherBidPricenorBidPriceAsPercentageOfOnDemandPriceis provided,BidPriceAsPercentageOfOnDemandPricedefaults to 100%.- Returns:
- The bid price, as a percentage of On-Demand price, for each Amazon EC2 Spot Instance as defined by
InstanceType. Expressed as a number (for example, 20 specifies 20%). If neitherBidPricenorBidPriceAsPercentageOfOnDemandPriceis provided,BidPriceAsPercentageOfOnDemandPricedefaults to 100%.
-
ebsConfiguration
public final EbsConfiguration ebsConfiguration()
The configuration of Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) attached to each instance as defined by
InstanceType.- Returns:
- The configuration of Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) attached to each instance as defined by
InstanceType.
-
hasConfigurations
public final boolean hasConfigurations()
For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the Configurations property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check theisEmpty()method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.
-
configurations
public final List<Configuration> configurations()
A configuration classification that applies when provisioning cluster instances, which can include configurations for applications and software that run on the cluster.
Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.
This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the
hasConfigurations()method.- Returns:
- A configuration classification that applies when provisioning cluster instances, which can include configurations for applications and software that run on the cluster.
-
customAmiId
public final String customAmiId()
The custom AMI ID to use for the instance type.
- Returns:
- The custom AMI ID to use for the instance type.
-
priority
public final Double priority()
The priority at which Amazon EMR launches the Amazon EC2 instances with this instance type. Priority starts at 0, which is the highest priority. Amazon EMR considers the highest priority first.
- Returns:
- The priority at which Amazon EMR launches the Amazon EC2 instances with this instance type. Priority starts at 0, which is the highest priority. Amazon EMR considers the highest priority first.
-
toBuilder
public InstanceTypeConfig.Builder toBuilder()
- Specified by:
toBuilderin interfaceToCopyableBuilder<InstanceTypeConfig.Builder,InstanceTypeConfig>
-
builder
public static InstanceTypeConfig.Builder builder()
-
serializableBuilderClass

public final boolean equalsBySdkFields(Object obj)
- Specified by:

-
toString
public final String toString()
Returns a string representation of this object. This is useful for testing and debugging. Sensitive data will be redacted from this string using a placeholder value.
-
