Method Detail
-
clientRequestToken
public final String clientRequestToken()
Returns the value of the ClientRequestToken property for this object.- Returns:
- The value of the ClientRequestToken property for this object.
-
fileSystemId
public final String fileSystemId()
Specifies the file system with which you want to associate one or more DNS aliases.
- Returns:
- Specifies the file system with which you want to associate one or more DNS aliases.
-
hasAliases
public final boolean hasAliases()
For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the Aliases property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check theisEmpty()method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.
-
aliases
public final List<String> aliases()
An array of one or more DNS alias names to associate with the file system. The alias name has to comply with the following formatting requirements:
-
Formatted as a fully-qualified domain name (FQDN),
hostname.domain, for example,accounting.corp.example.com. -
Can contain alphanumeric characters and the hyphen (-).
-
Cannot start or end with a hyphen.
-
Can start with a numeric.
For DNS alias names, Amazon FSx stores alphabetic characters as lowercase letters (a-z), regardless of how you specify them: as uppercase letters, lowercase letters, or the corresponding letters in escape codes.
Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.
This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the
hasAliases()method.- Returns:
