Method Detail

clients
public final String clients()
A value that specifies who can mount the file system. You can provide a wildcard character (
*), an IP address (0.0.0.0), or a CIDR address (192.0.2.0/24). By default, Amazon FSx uses the wildcard character when specifying the client.- Returns:

-
hasOptions
public final boolean hasOptions()
For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the Options property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check theisEmpty()method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.
-
options
public final List<String> options()
The options to use when mounting the file system. For a list of options that you can use with Network File System (NFS), see the exports(5) - Linux man page. When choosing your options, consider the following:
-
crossmntis used by default. If you don't specifycrossmntwhen changing the client configuration, you won't be able to see or access snapshots in your file system's snapshot directory. -
syncis used by default. If you instead specifyasync, the system acknowledges writes before writing to disk. If the system crashes before the writes are finished, you lose the unwritten data.
Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.
This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the
hasOptions()method.- Returns:
