Class DiscoverInputSchemaResponse

    • Method Detail

      • inputSchema

        public final SourceSchema inputSchema()

        The schema inferred from the streaming source. It identifies the format of the data in the streaming source and how each data element maps to corresponding columns in the in-application stream that you can create.

        Returns:
        The schema inferred from the streaming source. It identifies the format of the data in the streaming source and how each data element maps to corresponding columns in the in-application stream that you can create.
      • hasParsedInputRecords

        public final boolean hasParsedInputRecords()
        For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the ParsedInputRecords property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check the isEmpty() method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.
      • parsedInputRecords

        public final List<List<String>> parsedInputRecords()

        An array of elements, where each element corresponds to a row in a stream record (a stream record can have more than one row).

        Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

        This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasParsedInputRecords() method.

        Returns:
        An array of elements, where each element corresponds to a row in a stream record (a stream record can have more than one row).
      • hasProcessedInputRecords

        public final boolean hasProcessedInputRecords()
        For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the ProcessedInputRecords property.
      • processedInputRecords

        public final List<String> processedInputRecords()

        The stream data that was modified by the processor specified in the InputProcessingConfiguration parameter.

        Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

        This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasProcessedInputRecords() method.

        Returns:
        The stream data that was modified by the processor specified in the InputProcessingConfiguration parameter.
      • hasRawInputRecords

        public final boolean hasRawInputRecords()
        For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the RawInputRecords property.
      • rawInputRecords

        public final List<String> rawInputRecords()

        The raw stream data that was sampled to infer the schema.

        Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

        This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasRawInputRecords() method.

        Returns:
        The raw stream data that was sampled to infer the schema.
      • toString

        public final String toString()
        Returns a string representation of this object. This is useful for testing and debugging. Sensitive data will be redacted from this string using a placeholder value.
        Overrides:
        toString in class Object
