Method Detail
-
samplingRule
public final SamplingRule samplingRule()
The rule definition.
- Returns:
- The rule definition.
-
hasTags
public final boolean hasTags()
For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the Tags property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check theisEmpty()method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.
-
tags
public final List<Tag> tags()
A map that contains one or more tag keys and tag values to attach to an X-Ray sampling rule. For more information about ways to use tags, see Tagging Amazon Web Services resources in the Amazon Web Services General Reference.
The following restrictions apply to tags:
-
Maximum number of user-applied tags per resource: 50
-
Maximum tag key length: 128 Unicode characters
-
Maximum tag value length: 256 Unicode characters
-
Valid values for key and value: a-z, A-Z, 0-9, space, and the following characters: _ . : / = + - and @
-
Tag keys and values are case sensitive.
-
Don't use
aws:as a prefix for keys; it's reserved for Amazon Web Services use.
Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.
This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the
hasTags()method.- Returns:
- A map that contains one or more tag keys and tag values to attach to an X-Ray sampling rule. For more
information about ways to use tags, see Tagging Amazon Web Services
resources in the Amazon Web Services General Reference.
